Chris McSwain

CEO and Co-Founder of ThinkX

In May 2019, Chris moved from active investor to a leadership role in the company that would become known as ThinkX. Now as CEO, he leads an experienced executive team to relaunch this ground-breaking technology. Over his career, Chris and his teams have successfully delivered financial savings, breakthrough levels of employee engagement and positive impact to operational and business performance. He has led human resource transformation at employers such as Walmart, Whirlpool, General Dynamics, Syngenta, and SCANA,

Chris and his teams have receiving numerous awards, press and accolades from a variety of industry and media publications. For more than 10 years, he served as a member of the Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI) Board of Directors, as IBI Board Chair, and as President. In 2013, as a global leader, he co-founded WorldWideWellbeing.org. As an innovator and thought leader, he has also served as a board member for multiple organizations as well as currently serving as a board advisor for a variety of technology start-ups.

Kim Levings

Chief Strategy Officer

Originally from South Africa, Kim brought more than fifteen years’ experience in Human Resources and Manpower Development with some of the country’s largest retail and manufacturing organizations. After settling in Los Angeles, she founded DDP Consulting – offering services in the areas of instructional and product design for leader development, training facilitation, strategic planning, organizational design, and performance coaching systems.

Kim was instrumental in the development of the training and coaching materials for ThinkX and has been a key part of the company leadership team ever since. Kim is also a master trainer and coach and her personal mission is to help people excel at their desired goals and careers. Kim also had various senior executive roles during a fourteen-year tenure with a large private Christian organization, prior to returning to full time consulting in 2015. Kim consulted for Third River Partners, LLC for some time, and was then hired and still serves as Vice President, Client Services, in a part-time capacity.

Ken Poletti

Chief Innovation Officer and Co-Founder of ThinkX

In August 2018, Ken Poletti joined the executive team of entrepreneurs working on the products and services offered by ThinkX. Ken created his own practice, Poletti Group, LLC, to assist with startup organizations. Leveraging his 30+ years experience as a revenue-generating partnership development and technology executive to help clients deliver consistent results within their organizations.

In 2000, Ken joined the startup, Benefitfocus.com, which grew to be the largest provider of online benefits management software in the industry. He held several leadership roles in his 17 years at the company, such as the SVP of Ecosystem and Partner Solutions, SVP Integrations and Partner Solutions, VP Integration and Data Services and VP of Professional Services. Prior to Benefitfocus, Ken was Director of Software Engineering at PDA Dimensions, Inc. and Director of Application Development for Hill-Rom Company, Inc.

His charity work includes Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as well as the Peer Health Exchange.

Gene Guhne

Chief Revenue Officer

Gene joins ThinkX as our Chief Revenue Officer after more than 26 years in the Human Capital Management industry. Gene began his career at ADP, the world’s largest HCM provider and has held various sales management positions. Subsequent to ADP, Gene joined Ultimate Software. His teams had an integral role in obtaining Ultimate’s marquis and largest clients. In his twenty years at Ultimate as Vice President of Sales, Gene helped drive the revenue growth that took Ultimate’s market cap from $10 million to $8 billion dollars.

After Ultimate, Gene joined Ceridian, a NYSE company, to build out their large market teams. His team was successful in acquiring Ceridian’s largest client with more than 150,000 employees. Thru his career, Gene and his teams have been responsible for generating hundreds of millions of dollars in new revenue.

Lynne Marian

Chief Marketing Officer

For more than 30 years, Lynne has contributed to the launch and growth of successful brands. As CMO for ThinkX, Lynne provides strategic planning and results-oriented, multi-channel marketing communications. She is recognized for her insight, inspirational leadership, and her ability to elevate both individuals and companies.

Lynne has worked in and with organizations of all types and sizes including Fortune 500, publicly traded, and start-ups. Her industry experience includes medical and behavioral healthcare, publishing, media, consumer products/manufacturing, marketing, and global non-profits. In addition to her decades of experience as a senior marketing and brand executive, Lynne is also a certified professional coach specializing in organizational leadership and emotional intelligence.

Wade A. McNair, Psy.D.

Organizational Psychologist and Human Capital Strategist

Dr. McNair is an organizational psychologist and human capital strategist. He is a dynamic coach, consultant, and communicator with more than 20-years’ experience in talent management, corporate learning, leadership development, team dynamics, human resources, and organizational effectiveness. He is actively engaged in coaching and consulting, non-profit, and faith-based organizations around the world. He is a gifted communicator and the creator of The Ability Series™, the Insight-Based Learning Method™, the Authenticity Equations™, and the Total Engagement Model™. In addition to his professional practice, Wade is an Adjunct Professor at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Bruce Sherman, MD, FCCP, FACOEM

VP, Metrics and Analytics

Chief Medical Officer for the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions, Bruce Sherman provides guidance for clinically-related organizational activities. He is responsible for implementing integrated, data-driven approaches for the health and well-being strategy. He also serves as Medical Director, Population Health Management for the RightOpt private exchange offering at Conduent HR Services. Previously, Bruce has also served as the consulting corporate medical director for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Whirlpool Corporation, as well as The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

As a frequent speaker, Bruce has presented on a wide range of population health management and human resources practice-related topics. He has published numerous articles and is a member of the clinical faculty at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Bruce received his MD from NYU School of Medicine, his MA from Harvard, and his ScB from Brown.

Christy Andrews

Director, Operations

Christy Andrews brings over five years of experience in logistics planning and customer service to her position as Director of Operations. Before moving into her current role, Christy spent 14 years in both insurance and finance. As a licensed financial advisor and insurance agent, Christy leverages her accomplishments, knowledge, and background of the industry from time spent with Merrill Lynch and State Farm.

Ted Malley – Board Chairman

Former Chief Customer Officer, Ceridian

With over 27 years of experience as a senior executive in the technology industry, Ted Malley shares his passion of helping others with technology through Ceridian’s award winning XOXO Customer Success program. Prior to his time at Ceridian, Ted served at Ultimate Software in a variety of executive management positions and was co-founder of RelatedMatters, Inc.

In 2013, Ted was introduced to the ThinkX products and used it to develop and coach his immediate leadership team and their direct reports. From there, ThinkX was adopted company-wide at Ultimate Software. The leadership team in this region outperformed the rest of the country, largely due to the development of the talent on the team using the tools.

Ted is co-author of RelateAbility: Working Together to Make Work Life Better, a book explaining the TeamRelate’s behavioral model.

Dennis Cagan

Shadow CEO®, Board Chairman/Director, 50+ yr Tech Entrepreneur, Governance Expert, and Author

Dennis is a noted high-technology entrepreneur, executive, and board director. He co-founded his first software company in 1968. Since then, he has been a CEO of both public and private companies, a venture capitalist, a consultant, and a professional board member.

He is primarily engaged in consulting, providing his trademarked Shadow CEO® services and on building corporate boards through his firm Caganco Incorporated. Dennis currently sits on technology company boards in New York, Pittsburgh, Chicago, La Jolla, Dallas and Austin. He is a part of the IT Hall of Fame (2013), the National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Dallas Business Journal elected him as one of its inaugural 12 Outstanding Directors in North Texas. His book, The Board of Directors of a Private Enterprise, is the authoritative perspective on the widest range of private company governance issues.

Gary Morais

Vice Chairman

Gary is an expert in Human Capital Performance Thinking: a new standard for measuring, benchmarking, hiring and developing human performance. He is the founder of Bottom Line Results, and the creator of the PX-12 profile. It is his work that grew into the patented products and workforce performance suite that was acquired by ThinkX.

Throughout his career, Gary has assisted with workforce transformations for hundreds of companies like Charles Schwab, Standard Insurance, VeriSign, Baskin-Robbins and Pizza Hut to name a few. Gary also has almost two decades of experience in private practice as a psychotherapist. He has appeared and produced 20 programs for television and has been a frequent guest on TV to help people better understand themselves and others. Gary has served on numerous boards of private and non-profit organizations.

Eric Eilertsen

President and Chief Executive Officer, Liquidmetal Coatings, LLC

Eric has over a decade of experience creating strategies for the digital personal assessment and engagement market. He is a strong believer in the unique ability of ThinkX to provide individuals with the tools to change and improve their behavior. He currently provides strategic and tactical planning and organizational support to the team.

During his 35-year business career, Eric served as CEO, COO, and corporate consultant for companies across the U.S., Canada, China and Europe, including several Fortune 100 companies. He has personally directed over $1 billion of private equity based investments.

Eric has worked globally to build and lead strong teams to innovative operational and technology strategies. He is responsible for multiple patents while pioneering for other meaningful innovations. He has held various NASD and SEC licenses and has served as a director on multiple private and public boards since 1985.

Mike Preston

Constance Sjoquist

For over 25 years, Constance has guided companies transforming health through disruptive technologies and forward-thinking business strategies, while meeting the ever-changing landscape and latest technology advancements.

In her early career, Constance held senior roles at Optum, United Healthcare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MN, and EngagePoint. Later, she went on to become a healthcare research director at Gartner, where she covered digital platforms, health exchanges, consumer personalization and engagement, payment integrity/fraud and waste and abuse (FWA) solutions.

Most recently, Constance was named Chief Transformation Officer at HLTH, where she helped create the biggest, most influential conference for health innovation. During her tenure, HLTH grew from just a concept to one the leading industry events with over 6,500 senior leaders spanning every corner of health that focused on creating the future of health.

Dr. David Whitehouse

With 25 years of C-level experience, clinical executive Dr. David Whitehouse holds a record of innovative solutions, actionable plans and measurable results for large companies facing competitive market challenges in one of the most dynamic periods in the healthcare industry.

David has designed and implemented home-grown innovations and curated solutions. Kay Curling

Don Taylor

Author, Speaker, Teacher

Don is an accomplished coach, consultant, and teacher. He has nearly 40 years of operational and leadership experience across the healthcare and engineering industries. A retired Colonel, Don is a U.S Air Force veteran and was head of the theater (trauma) hospital at Balad AB in Iraq in 2006. His position as Health Benefits and Policy advisor to the Air Force Surgeon General made him instrumental in developing the military health plan TRICARE.

His previous roles include COO of Wilford Hall Academic Medical Center in San Antonio, and Director, at Southwest Health Resources Integration.

Don served as the President of a $38M engineering and medical support company that served clients in 14 countries. A consummate public speaker, he focuses on emerging industry disruptors and other exciting opportunities within today’s dynamic leadership environment. A published author, Don serves as National Air Force Association Veteran and Retiree Council Chairman, and founded the Wounded Airman Program.

Evan Sanchez

Author, Teacher, Speaker

Evan Sanchez has used his experience as a soccer player at the top of his game to become a successful personal trainer, performance, and mindset coach. Using the same champion goal setting techniques, he now educates individuals on how to elevate their thinking so they can take their business to the next level.

Evan has been the owner or co-owner of three businesses.He was also director of sales and marketing for the prestigious global consulting firm Kepner-Tregoe and sales manager at Fortune 500 LandAmerica American Title.

He was also sales director at Dallas Business Journal. His book, Sell Like A Champ: Mindsets, Toolsets, and Skillsets for Peak Performance in Sales, discusses how you can utilize the same mental training used by professional athletes to be a success in the corporate world. With over 25 years of experience working in health and wellness, Evan specializes in sales management coaching, organizational leadership, communication, conflicts, and performance management.

Michael Holliday

Ken Lane

With over 25 years of leadership and team-building experience working for corporations such as MCI, Hewlett-Packard, and Bechtel Engineering, as well as non-profits such as Easton Foundations, and Compassion International, Ken has coached executive leaders and their teams in linking intentional leadership practice to bottom line growth and impact.

Understanding the pressures and expectations of a C-Level position first-hand, Ken’s ability to relate to senior executives and their teams provides a strong connection point. Jeff Lamb

President, Apertus, Inc.

In 1987, Jeff Lamb started Venture SystemSource, Inc. (VSS), which sold midrange and mainframe hardware and software solutions. In 1996, VSS co-authored and patented a multi-gaming points card solution which became a standard for the gaming industry. It was later sold after achieving annual sales in excess of $90 million.

Jeff also developed one of the nation’s first physician portal software solutions eventually known as Health Information Exchange solution (HIE). The solution is installed in over 200 hospitals across the US and Canada, interfacing with over 175 clinical systems.

Jeff later worked with United Healthcare’s Optum division before forming Apertus Inc. to help improve system performance and reduce costs in health care delivery. Jeff serves on the Foundation Board for Union University in Jackson, TN and on the Olford Ministries International board in Memphis, TN, which trains church leaders from around the world. Jeff is a co-founder of ThinkX.

Lew Walker SPHR

Principal at KL HR Advisors

A seasoned human resources executive, Lew has held positions with Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems, SBC Wireless, Cingular, and ATT. He has extensive experience with mergers and acquisition, culture, and change management having been part of numerous merger integrations including Pacific Bell, Ameritech, ATT Wireless and Direct TV. Lew has a particular focus on learning and development.

He led the Learning Service organization at ATT where his team came in first place for CLO (Chief Learning Officer) magazine inaugural learning elite award where they also placed the next two years. He has served on key industry advisory boards throughout his career. Lew was a recipient for of the next generation award from Women in Technology International (WITI) for the work he and his team did in advancing STEM( science, technology, engineering and math) for women while serving at ATT. Lew is published author and has spoken at numerous industry events including keynote speaker, panelist, and facilitator.

Howard H. Tarnoff

Industry Leader & CRO, Empinfo

Howard is a disruptive thought leader, presenter, and pioneer in Human Capital Management (HCM), Customer experience, engagement and customer advocacy marketing and a dynamic Sales and Marketing leader with an innate ability to attract and retain Top Talent. His current role of CRO at Empinfo, a San Jose Valley leader in Employment and Income Verifications.

Prior to Empinfo, he was Senior Vice-President of Customer Success for Ceridian HCM, where he helped attract recognized industry talent and launched the award-winning ‘XOXO’ customer success program.

Howard also has deep domain expertise in all facets of Human Capital Management (HCM), from creating, building, and developing successful exit events for small organizations to leading enterprise-sized organizations through rapid expansion and brand diversification.

In his career, Howard has earned several professional certifications and has specialties that include: Customer Success, Customer Experience, Peer-to-Peer Economy, Customer Advocacy, Digital, Customer Engagement, Net New and Retained Revenue, opening new business channels and forging strategic partnerships.
